Where can I find more information on registrations and important dates?

Visit the Brownsburg Little League website. https://www.brownsburgbaseball.com/registration

Which division should I register for based on my player’s age?

Player divisions are aligned to age group standards governed by Little Little International. The age chart and other information can be found at https://www.littleleague.org/play-little-league/determine-league-age/

My player has never played baseball before. Should we still register to play?

All players are encouraged to join our youth baseball program regardless of experience. Our volunteer coaches are committed to develop each player as they learn the game of baseball.

What does “Waitlist” mean for the 4u Division?

Younger players that align to the 4U division will be added to the 5U division as space permits. Players on the 4U division “waitlist” will be moved to the 5U division on a first-come-first-serve basis. For the Spring 2026 season, we will be accepting 4U players with birthdates from 9/1/2021 - 3/31/2022.

Are canceled practices and games rescheduled?

As practices are scheduled by the Team Manager (not the League), any practice changes and cancellations will be communicated via your team’s Manager.

Game postponements are communicated to parents via email, website updates and Facebook (www.fb.com/brownsburglittleleaguebaseball). While not guaranteed, the League makes every effort to reschedule all postponed games, sometimes as soon as the same week. Recognizing the unpredictability of spring weather in Indiana, we appreciate your flexibility and understanding in this regard.

When and where will teams practice and play their games?

Players can expect to have two or three events scheduled per week depending on age division. An event is defined as a practice or a game. Practice schedule and location will be determined by the team’s volunteer Manager. Practices will most likely NOT occur on a baseball diamond, but most likely in an open field/space. Games are played throughout the week or Saturdays. Games are played at Arbuckle Acres Park, Brownsburg East Middle School or Brownsburg West Middle School depending on the player’s age division. No games are initially scheduled to be played on Sunday.

What is included with Spring Rec registration?

A uniform will be provided to each player consisting of a jersey top, pants, belt, and hat. Certain age divisions also receive socks.

What are the minimum requirements to play?

Players should have their own baseball glove, shoes (rubber cleats are not required), and water bottle with their name clearly labeled on each. Each Team Manager is provided batting helmets, one set of catcher gear, and a bat for general team use. If players prefer to have their own batting helmet, a face shield is required. Players that prefer to use their own bat, it must have USA Bat-approved labeling.

I live in a different town and my player doesn’t go to school in Brownsburg. Can I register my player for Brownsburg Little League?

Players age 4-7 and siblings of players age 4-7 are eligible to play in any chartered Little League program regardless of boundaries (Understanding Boundaries in Little League - Little League). For all other potential registrants, only the Charter Committee in Williamsport can grant an out-of-boundary waiver for a player. The Charter Committee typically only approves out-of-boundary waivers for players that do not reside inside the boundaries of a sanctioned Little League.

More information about Little League International Waiver Rules and Regulations can be found on their website (https://www.littleleague.org/university/articles/waivers-of-rules-and-regulations/). An article on their website titled, “Waivers: What Parents Need to Know” can be found here (https://www.littleleague.org/university/articles/waivers-what-parents-need-to-know/). Both sites provide further explanation for an out-of-boundary waiver submission process and approvers.

Do I live in Brownsburg Little League Boundaries?
